BODY LANGUAGE SIGNALS
Body language plays a very important title role in communication. Body language is a kind of non-verbal communication. Where feelings are expressed by individual physical behavior. Facial expressions , eye undertaking are kind of non - verbal announcement. Research shows that 55-85 percent communication involves non-verbal communication , which results that body language is very important.
At the time of communication with an individual the body language signs you see or observe has several meanings.
So, here are some body language signals:-

BODY LANGUAGE JUST HAPPENS NATURALLY
If someone signals that , they are feeling comfortable you can easily interact with that person if someone is feeling uncomfortable you  will not interact with them easily.
FACIAL EXPRESSION
Facial expression conveys a great deal of non-verbal communication. A person can easily convey his/her facial expression. As , smile indicates happiness whereas , frown indicates unhappiness.

They are some kind of facial expressions. Facial expressions itself speaks a lot about person what they are feeling.
THE EYES
People says that eyes are a “ WINDOW TO THE SOUL” because eyes can easily reveal about the person what they are feeling or thinking. At the time of communication with the person eye contact is necessary while interacting with people.
·        Crying
When a person is crying it is associated or we relate it that the person is sad whereas sometimes happiness through laughing can cause us to cry. We are very well known with the word ‘crocodile tears’ which usually means to gain sympathy.
·        Blinking
Blinking is a kind of good indicator which means person is attracted to the person they are talking. Blinking means to close and open one or both of the eyes rapidly.
·        Winking
Winking is a signal of affection or greeting.
People usually think and feel about us on our non-verbal signs.
THE MOUTH
Mouth expressions are also essential in reading body language. For example: when a person is chewing the lower lip it usually indicates that the person is in fear , covering the mouth indicates that the individual is yawning or coughing.
MOUTH IS THE EVENTUAL FUNCTION THAT WE USE IT FOR COMMINICATING WITH ANOTHER BEING
SPEAKING
The mouth sends additional signals when it is speaking.
·        When mouth is moving little it may indicate unwillingness to speak. Shyness is one of the best example.
·        When mouth is moving a lot it indicates the excitement.
Fast speakers are usually a visual thinkers whereas the slow speakers may be a deep thinkers.
EATING
The way people eat tells things about them. A person who opens their mouth minimum to put a amount of food and keep it closed while chewing are a well mannered person. This kind of people are very well known with the table etiquattes. Whereas unmannerly person can gulp a large amount of food and talk at the same time while chewing food.
SMILING
Smiling indicates happiness or pleasure when we are enjoying other person’s company.

GESTURES
gestures are the most direct body language signals. Pointing, thumbs-up , using fingers are some of the most common using gestures and which is easy to understand.
As thumbs-up and thumbs-down are mostly used as gestures for the approval and for the disapproval and whereas the V-sign is created by lifting the index finger and the middle finger and create the V sign which shows the sign of victory.
In many countries such signs or signals are taken as offensive gestures or offensive meaning.
ARMS AND LEGS
The position of arms and legs can tell many things about the body language.
ARMS
·         When the person is standing by keeping their arms away or by the side from the body which means that person could feel confident or strong.
·        When the person keeps their arms crossed that gives the sign of feeling protective
·        Touching an arm of another individual indicates the sign of sympathy.
·        Tapping fingers again and again is a sign that a person is getting bored or person is impatient.
LEGS
Legs plays a very important role in the field of non-verbal body language.
OPEN LEGS
When a person is standing with the open legs or in the relaxed position this may be indicates that the person is feeling confident or that person is strong whereas when the person is sitting with slightly open legs which shows that the person is sitting in a relaxed position as well as feeling comfortable.
CLOSED LEGS
When the person is standing with the feet together it will surely displays that the person is in anxiety or distress. This type of standing position may indicate the desire for protection by the person. As same when the individual is with the knees tightly together it is depending on the anxiety level of the person.
CROSSED LEGS
When ever person is standing with the crossed legs it displays the unstable position of the person. Crossed legs shows the shyness or it indicates that shielding the person from another person. Whereas sitting with crossed legs also shows that the person is distress. If a person is leaning forward with the cross ankle legs which is tucked under the chair it clearly shows the concealed anxiety level of person. Knees held together can displays the greater anxiety , if they fall naturally slightly apart is the female modesty position.
MOVING LEGS
moving legs are sometimes in just for exercising or sometimes it sends a signals. When a person is standing and continuously bouncing their legs which clearly shows the impatience of person. As same way when a person is sitting with crossed legs and bounce leg up and down it also shows the impatience level of person. When person swing their legs at the time of music it indicates that person is relaxed or enjoying the music vibes.
When person is moving fast it shows this shows the person is in hurry or if the person is moving slow this clearly indicates that the person is lazy or have much time to kill.
PERSONAL SPACE
Personal space for every individual at every situation is very necessary. There is always a invisible air borders around us which is reserved for certain people. Not everyone is allowed to enter in that border. Whenever any stranger is trying to cross that limit or try to enter in that border it will make us feeling uncomfortable.
·        Personal distance
Personal distance usually occurs between the family members and close friends. To maintain the personal distance we must maintain the distance of 1.5 – 4 feet. At this distance people will feel comfortable while interacting with others.
·        Social distance
Social distance usually occurs with the co-workers , drivers etc. the distance we have to maintain with this is to be 4 – 12 feet.
·        Public distance
Public distance is mostly used at public speaking situations. For ex: whenever you are giving any presentation in any corporate world or talking in front of class full of students. The distance we have to maintain is at 12 – 25 feet.
Whenever any individual build their own personal space it will make them comfortable as well as protective.
BODY LANGUAGE IS VERY POWERFUL TOOL. IT IS ALSO A GREAT SPEAKER WHICH IS NOT AUDIBLE.
NOW, HERE ARE SOME TACTICS TO IMPROVE YOUR BODY LANGUAGE…..
1)   MAKE EYE CONTACT
Always make a eye contact to a person whom you are speaking. This will develop the level of trust or creates a good connection. Another person pay attention to what you are saying.
2)   USE HAND GESTURES
Usually our gestures is linked with our speech. Hand gestures can give a emphasis to what we are talking but always make sure not to give big hand gestures because it will look odd.
3)   TAKE WALK AROUND , WHILE SPEAKING TO AN AUDIENCE
Slow moving when you are giving speech it will implies the level of confidence. This will help you to connect with the people or audience around the room.
4)   KEEP GENUINE SMILE ON FACE
A genuine smile will connect you with others. A smile can improve relation as well as boosts confidence.
5)   THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK
When you start speaking be prepared with your thoughts and ideas. Don’t pause in between when you start speaking or talking. It looks awkward when you stop while talking and start looking up and down.
6)   KEEP YOUR VOCAL PITCH LOW
At the workplace try to keep your vocal pitch low because usually the people with high pitch is judged to be nervous or less powerful as compared with speakers who keep their vocal pitch low.
7)   MAINTAIN YOUR PERSONAL SPACE
The personal space focus on the distance between the people you are interacting. Try to maintain your personal space from your co-workers or people while speaking. It will make uncomfortable if any person stood too close to you.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN COMMUNICATION IS TO HEAR WHAT ISN’T BEING SAID….
